Bowen Therapy
Meet Raina Milner, Bowen/Massage Therapist:"I am Raina Milner. I am a massage therapist who specializes in osteopathic protocols and other remedial techniques. I added Bowen Therapy to my repertoire in 2017 and it has revolutionized my business. I still do massage therapy, but the neural kinetics of Bowen Therapy is now my main focus. I have been self-employed for over 12 years with my second baby Ethos Massage Therapy I grew up mostly in Halifax, NS, but was born in Rimbey, AB.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from Mount St Vincent University in Halifax. Yes, I was going to be a teacher and after working as an Educational Assistant, I quickly realized I did not have the knack to be upfront in a classroom. I then made the decision to listen to my father, and pursue massage therapy courses to see if I was meant to follow in his footsteps. And guess what? I was!!"

Dr. Sheldon Jordan, Naturopathic Doctor
Dr.Tracy Ewashkiw, Naturopathic Doctor
Naturopathic medicine is about finding the root cause of dis-ease and working with the body’s ability to heal itself by supporting it.
Meet Dr. Sheldon Jordan, ND:
"At the age of 17, I had a glimpse of myself as a healer, with the vision of treating the body, mind, and spirit: the whole person.
Together with my patients, we put together a plan that fits their needs and respects their values, whether it’s using nutrition, exercise, supplemental vitamins and minerals, herbal medicine, acupuncture, injection therapies, intravenous (IV) therapy, or other modalities.
I enjoy working to correct digestion, hormones (for both men and women), energy, stress, and any concerns that arise for children. In my training in naturopathic school, I trained under one of the pillars of the naturopathic oncology community and have a strong interest in assisting cancer patients from the beginning of cancer diagnosis, throughout treatment, and into the prevention of recurrence or progression."

Thermal Imaging 2 times/year
Thermal imaging has been an available medical test for more than 50 years. Thermography is a safe procedure and does not expose a patient to any form of radiation; it is a painless and non-invasive procedure with absolutely no adverse side effects.
Meet Glenda Neufeld:
"A few times a year I have the privilege of bringing thermography imaging to beautiful Sylvan Lake! Although we are able to do full-body imaging, including the crucial dental area, the most common use of thermography is for breast health assessment.
It is a method of testing for the risk of breast cancer without using radiation or compression. Used in Europe for decades, this tool provides an early warning system that gives the opportunity for intervention and prevention.
Today more than ever, I feel supporting each other is crucial and I concur with Dr. Frank Lipman who says, "I believe that health is more than merely the absence of disease. It is a total state of physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social well-being."
I look forward to meeting you at "the store with more"!"

Live Blood Analysis
Blood can serve as a predictor of health and provide an indication of illness well before symptoms appear. Live Blood Analysis involves extracting blood from the finger-tip a single living drop of blood that is then put under a powerful microscope.
Meet Wendy Kramer, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Nutritional Microscopy (Live Blood Analysis):
"Live Blood Analysis gives us a quick view of our internal environment, thus determining the best approach to improving and maintaining health. Most of my adult life evolved around my 3 sons and sports. It was sports and training that led me to supplementation and better eating. It felt a lot like a guessing game. Do I need this and why? Am I taking enough? Then I discovered Live Blood Analysis.
This was a game-changer for me. We use diet, supplementation, and lifestyle changes to manipulate the blood to look ideal. We focus on the foundation and let the body do the rest. By simplifying the approach to health, anyone can learn the steps necessary to improve themselves."

Wholehearted Juicery & Eatery (Seasonal)
Meet Melissa Kay:"From the moments of making childhood movie platters, learning how to manage her weight at a young age, and the journey of lifestyle changes would eventually mold the makings of good food and unique juice blends. Even though Melissa grew up on homegrown garden food and actively participated in various sports, there was a time when she paid little attention to her attachment to food and body connection. By the time graduation rolled around, she was able to shed some weight with a mindful morning routine of yoga and running. In 2010, during her travels along the Eastern coast of Australia, Melissa had the opportunity to immerse herself in the town of Byron Bay. “This is where I began to learn the foundations for my life!” Fresh food, daily yoga, longboarding, beach/ farm life, and amazing nature walks all light the spark of a healthy lifestyle. However, it wasn't until the spring of 2013 there was an energetic shift toward her relationship with food and her yoga practice. With the practice of yoga being naturally intertwined with all the body systems, it was easy to recognize a profound connection between body movement and the digestive system. Between the Spring of 2013 and the Fall of 2015, Melissa completed her 200hr of YTT, 32hrs of Yin Training and Nutrition Courses at CSNN. Since being empowered by the knowledge of both yoga and nutrition, Melissa has been helping others achieve wellness and understanding through yoga, diet, and supplementation. Along this journey, the diet has always stood out as the primary focus and as one of the most important aspects of wellness. “We are what we eat”. Very much influenced by art and color, food and drink, spiritual and body wellness, Melissa is now serving up delicious juice blends and continuing to experiment with different flavors of foods and beverages at Wholehearted Juicery & Eatery in Sylvan Lake."
